30x30 UK

Five extraordinary

years for nature

Dear reader

Right now, we have a rare and urgent opportunity to restore nature on an unprecedented scale – not by 2050, not in some distant land, but in just five years and right here on our doorstep. However there is one conversation that isn't happening: the one within the business community.

Let me explain. Two years ago, nearly 200 nations made a bold, united pledge to protect 30% of the world’s land and sea for nature by 2030 – 30x30.

It’s a visionary goal, backed by science and already partially funded by governments. What’s more, the UK is on the verge of leading a world-first initiative: a clear pathway for the private sector to help bridge the final funding gap by supporting certified 30x30 projects.

But here’s the challenge: most of the business world remains unaware or uninspired about this mission. That’s where you come in. We don’t need a revolution – just a spark. Our goal is to give you enough information to get excited, and to show you that you hold the power to influence your sector and help make 30x30 a reality.

We need 1,000 businesses to join this mailing list to ignite the next stage of this movement. Your interest alone can be the tipping point that gets this conversation started.

ABOUT

We’re a non-profit organisation founded by trustees Elliot Coad (prev. founder Ecologi) and Nicky O’Malley (founder of Nature’s Voice and prev. Head of Partnerships and Business Engagement at the RSPB).

We believe 30x30 is nature’s moonshot. And here in the UK recent developments mean we could actually achieve it. But not enough of us know this yet.

This is our first task. Interested in helping? Send us an email.
